The Last Wave

In the quiet seaside town of Brizan, everything changes with the arrival of a strange cloud that originates from a stationary arc above the ocean: a wave of clouds that makes surfers out at sea disappear like a tsunami. This is the first in a series of phenomena that the residents of this small community will face, disrupting their familiar lives and the surrounding landscape. When the surfers return five hours later, they appear unharmed but have changed and developed strange powers, such as the ability to hold their breath longer, the gift of healing, or accelerated pregnancies. While most residents of Brizan are filled with fear, others believe that nature has made the surfers its missionaries... but if that’s the case, why? Is it simply climate change, or the beginning of a rebellion from nature? And how will the residents respond to this phenomenon?.
