Product details

Rome in the year 476 A.D. When 12-year-old Romulus Augustus (Thomas Sangster) is to be crowned the new emperor, barbarian hordes invade Rome and abduct the boy along with his paternal mentor Ambrosinus (Ben Kingsley) to Capri. Led by Aurelius (Colin Firth), commander of the imperial guard, a small group of fearless legionaries sets out to rescue the young Caesar. With the support of the mysterious Byzantine warrior Mira (Aishwarya Rai), they manage to free Romulus and Ambrosinus, but their return to enemy-occupied Rome is impossible. Now there is only one way out: the companions must track down the last remaining Roman legion in Britain to help reclaim the Roman Empire.
