The labyrinth of words

It is the story of one of these encounters that can change your whole life: the meeting in a park between Germain, around 50, practically illiterate, and Margueritte, a little old lady and passionate reader. Forty years and a hundred kilos separate them. One day Germain sits down next to her by chance. Margueritte reads him passages from novels and opens up to him the world and the magic of books from which Germain always felt excluded. For his environment, the friends in the bistro, who until now took him for a simpleton, stupidity suddenly changes sides But Margueritte loses her eyesight more and more and out of deep friendship with this charming, mischievous and attentive old lady, she practices Germain reading and shows her that he will be able to read to her when she herself can no longer do so.
