On September 23, 2009, a package of explosives detonated on the roof of the Stockholm banknote depot. It created a hole in the concrete ceiling and opened the way to 39 million kronor. The plan was to escape by helicopter and hide the loot in a safe place. Niklas Nordgren, Michel Malouf, Sami Farhan, and Zoran Petrovic invested more than eight months in meticulous preparation. In the most spectacular robbery in Swedish history, they succeeded in taking off from the roof of the depot with the helicopter. However, the loot was still not safe. To this day, the four robbers have never spoken about their act, during which the police were unable to stop them.
