Of course we all want to save the world, but unfortunately this is somewhat joyless in detail. Local products from the organic food store taste better than industrial goods, and plastic bags are an imposition for aesthetic reasons alone. But if you want to be consistently climate-neutral, that means a radical change of lifestyle, which quickly becomes the new eco-religion, with which above all you get on the nerves of your fellow human beings. Alexander von Schönburg is nevertheless convinced: it must be possible to live pleasantly and yet in a way that conserves resources. He describes his attempt to lead a healthy and ecologically correct life and shows the difficulties and contradictions he encounters in the process - wonderfully self-deprecating and very true.
