Twins Myles and Beckett Fowl lead a carefree and somewhat boring life on an idyllic Irish island. The rest of the infamous Fowl family is absent, and the electronic security system Nanni oversees the two. The brothers couldn't be more different. While Myles prefers to invent brilliant electronic devices, Beckett spends his days in nature, talking to plants and animals. The aging villain Lord Teddy Bleedham-Drye is obsessed with youth. When he hears that there is a source of eternal youth on an Irish island, he sets off to find it. However, he has no idea that the source is guarded by a troll and that the Fowl family estate is located there. When Lord Teddy launches his attack, Myles and Beckett are thrown into a frenzy. Finally, boredom comes to an end, and they can show their clever electronic security system what they're made of.
