The day of the falcon

The young thief Phillipe Gaston manages to escape from the dungeons of Aquila. During his flight, he encounters the noble knight Etienne Navarre, who saves him from the bishop of Aquila's henchmen. Phillipe accompanies Etienne, who always carries a proud falcon with him, and learns over time about his fate: The bishop, who was envious of the love between Etienne and the beautiful Lady Isabeau, as he desired her himself, placed a terrible curse on both of them. At sunset, Etienne transforms into a wild wolf, while Isabeau turns into the falcon at sunrise. Although they travel together, the lovers can never truly be united...
