The cat house

The cat house Stolz shows the noble cat Koschka her magnificent home to her friends. But haughty and hard-hearted, she refuses to take in two poor little orphan kittens. Her servant and doorkeeper, the tomcat, chases the little ones away. When the beautiful house burns down one night, both Koschka and the tomcat find themselves in trouble. Who will help them? Certainly not their supposed friends, Baron and Baroness von Hahn, the billy goat Master Bokowitsch, or the fat Aunt Pig: they all unwillingly turn away the now impoverished cat. Desperate, Koschka and the tomcat wander through the rain-soaked darkness. They come across a half-ruined little hut, where two orphaned kittens live. The original LITERA audio play features Inge Keller, Käthe Reichel, Peter Dommisch, and many other well-known actors from the GDR.
