Product details

On a winter night, the land surveyor K. arrives in a village dominated by a mysterious castle and its officials. Time and again, K. tries to penetrate the castle, but to no avail. Everything he undertakes leads to nothing. Phone lines are dead, intermediaries turn out to be spies for an unknown power. The barmaid Frieda, whom he falls in love with, plays an opaque game with him, just like the innkeeper. The more K. tries to reach the castle, the further he distances himself from his goal, until he finally receives a summons for a highly official interrogation. Audio play featuring Gert Westphal, Friedrich von Bülow, and others. 1 CD, running time 82 min.
