The St. Nicholas costume in shiny dark red is a magnificent and regal sight. The long, tie-up cloak is made of velvet on the outside and lined with bronze-colored satin on the inside. The edges on the left and right sides are highlighted with a wide, golden trim. The back is adorned at the top with a horizontally running, golden decorative trim with fringes. A stole is worn around the neck, featuring two sewn-on crosses made of silver fabric and also has a wide gold trim. The long undergarment, known as the alb, has an elastic waistband. The lower part is bordered by another golden trim and both the lower part and the long sleeves are decorated with attached lace.
