Product details

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of its high-quality RC cars, Tamiya has released a limited special edition, the Avante 2011 Black Special. The original version of the Avante dates back to 1988. The current 2011 Black Special Edition features a unique black paint job, pink wheels, and a revised decal sheet, along with a modernized chassis and several tuning parts. The chassis has been optimized for the installation of modern RC components. The rear shock tower is stronger and now reinforced with carbon fibers. A cross brace between the right and left arms enhances stability. The original axle carriers have been replaced with stable and lightweight aluminum parts for improved performance.
