Tails on Fire is an interactive card game where the ever-changing selection of the best three game cards for a round leads to a constant dilemma, creating a unique gaming experience. This challenging game with easy-to-learn rules is the clever creation of German author Thomas Sellner. Set against a fairy tale of the indigenous Huichol people of Mexico, Tails on Fire is a fascinating composition of Mexican art, Huichol history, and super cute opossums, brought to life by Mexican artist Mayra Guadalupe Ornelas Ramos.

Tails on Fire is a continuous card chase for the next and hottest fire! Before each round, every player examines which fire card of which value is available to win in the current display and which fire they might steal from their opponents. Accordingly, a player then chooses their three hand cards to compete in the current round. In the following game round, players must stay in the game by playing a card with a number increased by one. Players can skip and bluff, but whoever remains in the round of Tails on Fire last takes the fire with the last played card and thus earns the hot points. But beware, in the next round, someone could snatch the fire back if they win a fire card of the same value. Just as the opossum once outsmarted the iguana, players in Tails on Fire must outwit each other. And not just once, but anew in every round – so it's essential to be clever and unpredictable!
