The war enters its hot phase when a new and improved Gatlantis force appears near Saturn. In response, Earth officially declares war on Gatlantis, leading to a truly gigantic space battle. Thanks to the Andromeda fleet, the attack remains balanced until Emperor Zordar and the White Comet make their appearance. The Yamato itself suffers a heavy defeat and crashes into the eye of the comet. However, Earth's last hope is another battleship: the Ginga. But is humanity ready to pay this price?
