Wendy - The Film
Twelve-year-old Wendy (Jule Hermann) is not at all thrilled. She is supposed to spend the summer holidays with her parents Gunnar (Benjamin Sadler) and Heike (Jasmin Gerat) at Rosenborg, the run-down horse farm of her grandmother Herta (Maren Kroymann). But Wendy has never been back on a horse since a riding accident. As soon as she arrives at the holiday resort, the wounded horse Dixie crosses her path. He has escaped from the butcher Röttgers (Waldemar Kobus) and now seems to be looking for Wendy. A friendship develops between the two loners that will change Wendy's life forever. But how long will Wendy succeed in hiding Dixie?
For 30 years, the stories in the magazine "Wendy" have thrilled not only horse fans. Now Wendy's adventures are coming to the big screen, filmed by director Dagmar Seume ("Hanni & Nanni 3").

Wendy 2 - Friendship forever
Wendy (Jule Hermann) has been living happily with her parents Heike (Jasmin Gerat) and Gunnar (Benjamin Sadler) on Rosenborg for a year. But the situation is serious because her grandma Herta's (Maren Kroymann) riding stable is about to go bankrupt. When Wendy hears about the youth tournament being organised by Ulrike (Nadeshda Brennicke), the boss of the large and modern St. Georg equestrian farm, she is sure: a victory and the associated cash prize would be the salvation for Rosenborg. But her horse Dixie is and remains a circus horse and just won't jump. But then Metzger Röttgers (Waldemar Kobus) brings the traumatised show horse Penny to Rosenborg. Wendy immediately recognises Penny's potential and at the same time sees through the problem: Penny is afraid of jumping. While she is fully occupied with helping Penny, Dixie feels increasingly neglected... (2 DVDs).
