The Smurfs (USA/Belgium 2011, 98 min., Rated G): When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they accidentally tumble from their magical world into ours and land right in the middle of Central Park in New York. Stranded in the unfamiliar big city, the Smurfs search for a way to return to their village before Gargamel can find them.

The Smurfs 2 (USA 2013, 101 min., Rated G): The evil wizard Gargamel creates mischievous, Smurf-like creatures called Naughties in hopes of obtaining the magical Smurf essence. However, he soon realizes that he needs the help of Smurfette, who knows how to turn the Naughties into real Smurfs. When Gargamel and his Naughties kidnap Smurfette from the Smurf village and take her to Paris, Papa Smurf and Clumsy must intervene.
