Karate teacher Kreese cannot forget the humiliating defeat inflicted upon him by Karate Kid Daniel and his Japanese mentor Miyagi at the last tournament. With the help of his wealthy friend Terry Silver, he plots revenge. Through underhanded tricks, Daniel is forced to face the "Bad Boy" of karate. Karate Kid stands no chance, yet Miyagi refuses to support him in his hour of need. "Karate means something only to defend honor and life. Not to win trophies and plastic." But Daniel disregards his teacher's words and enrolls in a martial arts school known for its ruthless fighting style.
