The 1991 BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) season was the first year that the Super Touring regulations replaced the Gr.A. BMW and Vauxhall competed in this new category, and there was a duel of outsiders for the drivers’ title. In the end, Will Hoy won the 1991 title with his BMW E30 M3 in Listerine colors, his best result in his 20-year career.
