In the prehistoric cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, wild activities abound, which do not please God, the Creator of humanity, at all. When His patience finally runs out, He decides to destroy the two places and punish their inhabitants with their demise. Lot comes from the Hebrew clan to which God has already revealed Himself earlier. He flees, just in time, with his family from the impending disaster that is about to befall the two cities, following God's warning. (2 Blu-rays)

Robert Aldrich and Sergio Leone filmed the biblical epic in 1961 in Italy and North Africa as an international co-production. The script was written by Hugo Butler and Giorgio Prosperi. The protagonist is played by Stewart Granger, while Rik Battaglia, known as a villain from the Karl May films, takes on another role. Popular German show stars Alice and Ellen Kessler make a guest appearance.
