Product details

The Dilophosaurus was one of the fastest primeval lizards after the Compsognathus and the Velociraptor. Despite his six metres body length, he weighed only 500 kg and had long, strong hind legs, with which he effortlessly reached speeds of up to 38 km/h. On his skull he carried two conspicuous bone combs, which also gave him the name "two-crested lizard". They were tall and long, but too thin to defend themselves. Scientists believe they were used to impress rivals.
