Rush Hour (USA 1998, 94 min., PG-13): Inspector Lee is the greatest enemy of organized crime in Hong Kong. His fatherly friend, Consul Han, supports the martial arts master in his efforts. When Han's daughter is kidnapped during a visit to the USA in the middle of rush hour, the worried father insists that the FBI involve Inspector Lee in the investigation. James Carter is the disgrace of the Los Angeles police. Now he must ensure that Lee doesn't interfere with the FBI's work. But Carter has other plans: the clever cop wants to solve the case on his own and prove to his superiors that he is a true super cop. Now the two mismatched policemen must find a way to work together.
