Fly fish, read and healthy

In his new, full-length cabaret program with the wonderfully epic title "Fly Fish, Read and Be Healthy, or: Happiness, Where is Your Sting?" Jochen Malmsheimer joyfully and in ever-new forms blurs the boundaries between nonsense and poetry. The similarities between a good, old Gruyere and Jochen Malmsheimer become increasingly evident: Malmsheimer is becoming riper, sharper, and grumpier. In his new program, we learn quite a bit about our country and ourselves, whether in the zoo, on the radio, or through highly idiosyncratic reflections on the age pyramid and the Egyptian-Lower Saxon cultural history. Ultimately, the world conspiracy of books, which he learns about by chance, reveals the secret of the solution to "Fly Fish, Read and Be Healthy..." in a thrilling finale. Here, literature is not only unleashed.
