The MDM-1 FOX is a legendary two-seater aerobatic glider in both manned aviation and model building. There are good reasons for this, as the aircraft was designed for uncompromising aerobatics and offers numerous expansion options (EDF or turbine drive). The potential of the FOX is extensive! The fully fiberglass kit, painted in shape, provides all the necessary prerequisites and has received numerous tested and proven reinforcements made of carbon fiber.

We deliberately chose a scale of 1:4 to offer you a compact, purebred aerobatic glider with the flight characteristics of a large model. Therefore, we also opted for a 4-flap wing, allowing you to warp the profile accordingly and adapt it to flight conditions, as well as increase agility around the longitudinal axis during aerobatics.

The wing connection consists of an 18x1mm aluminum tube with a solid carbon fiber rod inside. The included cockpit parts even allow for a prototype-like finish according to your own preferences. The flight characteristics can be classified as extremely forgiving. The FOX flies like it's on rails in any situation, and even during aerobatics, it responds nimbly and dynamically.

For landing in light headwinds, the butterfly position can be used as a brake before touching down on the 100mm main wheel. The kit includes all the small parts necessary for assembly, such as pushrods, fork and ball heads, control horns, cable control, screws, wheels, etc. If you're hesitant about building a model like the MDM-1 FOX in ARF, you should take a closer look at the PNP version.
