Richard Eichberg: The Tiger of Eschnapur

Set in original locations in India, this lavishly produced adventure film tells the story of a love triangle involving Chandra, the Maharaja of Eschnapur, his beautiful wife Sitha, and her former lover Sascha, a German who still loves Sitha. Prince Ramigani, who is plotting a coup against the Maharaja, turns him against his wife and her former lover, forcing the couple to flee around the world to Berlin, constantly pursued by her jealous husband and his men. In the second part, Sitha and her German lover Sascha have returned to India, where Prince Ramigani plans to overthrow the Maharaja. The final showdown takes place in the palace of Eschnapur between the Maharaja, his rival Prince Ramigani, and the lovers Sitha and Sascha.
