A band of bandits flees through the desert after a bank robbery. At a ranch, they steal horses and shoot the father of three sons, James Walker. The sons, Jeff, Chris, and Brad, later vow to their mother to avenge his death. Jeff has become the sheriff in Veracruz, Brad now runs the family farm, and Chris is a wandering gunslinger. The brothers each seek the criminals in different ways. Unlike his brothers, Jeff wants to bring the bandits to justice and have them convicted.
