Primate researcher Davis Okoye struggles to connect with his fellow humans. However, he shares an unbreakable friendship with George, an extraordinarily intelligent silverback gorilla he has raised since birth. But when an illegal genetic experiment goes awry, this gentle ape transforms into a raging monster of enormous proportions. As if that weren't enough, it soon becomes clear that other animals have been manipulated in the same way.
