Suddenly a Film Hero: The video of a brave rescue operation by Fireman Sam becomes a massive hit on the internet. Even the big Hollywood director Don Sledgehammer takes notice and wants Sam for his next film. However, on the film set, Sam encounters Flex Dexter, his envious co-star, who makes his life difficult and doesn't shy away from dangerous sabotage. Heroes don’t fall from the sky: A mysterious flying man appears in Pontypandy. While he seems to be the great savior in emergencies, it soon becomes clear that the near-disasters were staged.
