The Witcher Dice Set: Dandelion - Vicomte de Lettenhove
This dice set is inspired by The Witcher series and is dedicated to Dandelion, a bard who is equally popular among noble lords and ladies. The set consists of 8 pieces: 7 polyhedral dice and a metal coin featuring Dandelion's likeness, which serves as a D2. Each die is painted violet and adorned with golden engravings. The sides with the highest value and the back of the coin display the lute preferred by Dandelion.
Dandelion is a widely known figure, both among the common folk and the highborn. Where beautiful ballads alone could not open doors for him, he also demonstrated considerable talent in diplomacy and politics. More than once, he owed his rescue or favor from the nobility to his eloquent speech. In a certain Toussaint, for example, he was officially known as Julian Alfred Pankratz, Viscount de Lettenhove.
This special dice set is dedicated to him, featuring a violet and gold color scheme, with clear numeral inscriptions, stylized engravings that maintain the atmosphere of poetry and music, and the highest die faces embellished with the symbol of the lute. The coin that accompanies the set also displays this symbol on its reverse, while the front showcases the profile of Dandelion's handsome face.
The Witcher is not just a profession; it is not merely a character. The Witcher is a whole universe that has emerged thanks to the stories of Andrzej Sapkowski, where decisions and motives are never black and white. Colorful, full of unique charm, rich in unusual phenomena, and described with linguistic artistry, it has laid the foundation for later comics, video games, tabletop role-playing games, as well as films and series. If you are familiar with any of these sources, you know how addictive this universe can be.
