Punch and true love

Doctor Döbler's tasteful Punch and Judy show is not just any old Punch and Judy show, but amusing, literary children's entertainment. The puppet theatre has received many excellent reviews and has been a guest at numerous theatres and festivals, including the Munich Volkstheater. The owners, authors, speakers and puppeteers are Richard Oehmann and Josef Parzefall, who have already written nine children's plays for their stage and performed them throughout Germany. The lavish booklet contains portraits and information about each of the puppet characters. Children can also study a detailed map of Doctor Döblinger's very bizarre Punch and Judy region while listening. Plot: In order to finally make friends, the lonely witch Annegeer helps her grandmother with the washing, but accidentally burns Punch's hat in the process, making herself unpopular again. King Kurt promises Punch a new hat if he helps Prince Jochen find a suitable princess. However, the witch bewitches the prince with a love spell, and so Punch has all sorts of things to do to make everyone happy. The Punch and Judy song 'Alle miteinand schreien Kasperl, Kasperl' was played and arranged by Christoph Well.
