It was true love. Holly and Gerry wanted to spend their lives together. But things take a different turn: Gerry dies, leaving 29-year-old Holly alone. Her life also seems to be over. She isolates herself and no longer leaves the house. But one day she receives a letter... in Gerry's handwriting. It is the first of several letters that Gerry wrote before his death. In each one, he gives Holly a task to complete within a month. Thus begins a year of adventures for Holly—each one meticulously planned by Gerry and signed with the words "P.S. I love you.".
