Picturesque vineyards, old châteaux, and a series of mysterious deaths – a new case for the lovable investigator Pierre Durand! It’s late summer in Provence. Pierre Durand plans to propose to his Charlotte and has organized a trip to the scenic wine region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for this purpose. However, the romantic getaway takes an unexpected turn. Due to a cooking show being filmed at the château hotel, there is chaos everywhere. To make matters worse, upon their arrival, Pierre and Charlotte learn that a local winemaker recently died just days before selling his vineyard. Shortly after, the real estate agent dies in a traffic accident. Just a tragic coincidence – or is someone opposed to the sale of the old château? When a well-known wine expert cancels her participation in the cooking show at the last minute, no one suspects that Charlotte, who takes her place spontaneously, is putting herself in grave danger.
