To finally arrest the King of Terror and his accomplice Eva Kant, Inspector Ginko sets a trap for the criminal duo: jewels coated with a radioactive tracking substance are meant to lead the police to the criminals' hideout. After the heist, Diabolik and Eva flee with the loot into the mountains, where they are tracked down by Ginko and his men. The master of disguise manages to escape but leaves his beloved behind. She seeks revenge and offers Ginko her help to catch Diabolik.

With the second part of the Diabolik trilogy, the Manetti brothers deliver another stroke of genius that even surpasses its predecessor in terms of suspense. A touch of 007 and echoes of film noir characterize this elegant comic adaptation. Giacomo Giannotti plays the masked jewel thief, while international star Monica Bellucci is Ginko's secret lover.
