Two melancholic policemen in Hong Kong at night: narrow alleys, a brightly lit fast food joint. Both wear numbers instead of names; both are left by their girlfriends. Policeman No. 223 gives his girlfriend a month to return to him. Every day, he gifts her canned pineapple with the expiration date of their love, his birthday.
