Pirates of the Caribbean (USA 2003, 137 min, PG-12):

The idyllic life of the charming pirate Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) takes a sudden turn when the sinister Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) seizes his proud ship, the "Black Pearl," and attacks the port city of Port Royal, where he kidnaps the beautiful governor's daughter Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley).

The adventurous blacksmith Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), who has been Elizabeth's confidant since childhood, cannot let this go unchallenged. Together with the tough Sparrow, he sets out to hunt down Barbossa and his murderous pirate crew in search of his lost love.

Little do the two daredevils know about the mysterious curse that plagues Barbossa and his bloodthirsty crew: they transform under the moonlight.
