Pinocchio - A True Story (DVD)

Gepetto carves a talking puppet out of wood, which he names Pinocchio. The boy wants to explore the world and leaves his home with the horse Tybalt. He joins a traveling circus, unaware that its owner, Mangiafuoco, is a crook with sinister plans. The shows are sold out across the country, but during the performances, the Cat and the Fox, on Mangiafuoco's orders, rob the homes of the audience members. The police see Pinocchio as the main suspect, but the wooden boy has entirely different plans: he is in love with Bella and wants to become a real human with the help of Lucilda to win the love of his life.
