A story from the Graubünden mountains. This tale tells of Dumeni Tubak, his wife Nesa, and their children Viturin and Babetin. It recounts the adventures of Krog and Krah, the crows in the pear tree, and of Blaufrack and Diebsack, the magpies in the treetop of the birch. Most notably, it shares the story of Zizi and Zizewi, the grasshopper couple that built their nest in the thorny branches of the barberry bush.
