Painting workshop for children

From watercolors to ink, from colored pencils to markers: the starting point of this book is various painting materials and corresponding techniques, which are introduced chapter by chapter. After some playful activities to get to know the materials, the process moves from experimentation to motifs and finally to projects. The images take shape and tell little stories that are presented in diverse ways: as a concertina, zine, pop-up picture, flipbook, and more. On the "You Can Look Here" pages scattered throughout the book, children will also find thematic worlds for inspiration – from outer space to the deep sea, from the jungle to the city. Accompanying paper animations provide additional explanations or illustrate the projects.
