Neal Page, a stressed employee at an advertising agency, wants to spend Thanksgiving at home with his family in Chicago. What was planned as a short flight turns into a complete disaster. And that disaster has a name: Del Griffith. The talkative yet lovable salesman leads Neal not to his longed-for turkey, but on a mishap-filled journey across the country.

Steve Martin (Neal) and John Candy (Del) are fantastic as a wonderful chaotic duo that manages to make every terrible situation just a little worse.
