Oliver Twist

When the orphan boy Oliver Twist flees to London, he falls into the clutches of Fagin and his gang of thieves. In the dark streets of London, he is initiated into the craft of pickpocketing. However, the police catch him, and the kind Mr. Brownlow takes him in. Oliver's happiness is short-lived: Fagin's gang retrieves him, and he is forced to commit a terrible crime. The fantastic NDR radio play directed by Rainer Gussek transports young and old alike to the adventurous London of Charles Dickens.
