Product details

Are you trying to make quick money with electronics? Why limit yourself even when it comes to earning? This coin acceptor accepts three different types of coins! Whether you're building your own arcade cabinet or just want to charge admission to your home, this programmable coin acceptor makes it easy to monetize your next project.

The sensors in this coin acceptor use the thickness, diameter, and fall time of the coins to identify them. It is fully programmable, so you are not restricted to a specific type of currency. Simply use the buttons and the 7-segment display on the side of the device to select a coin profile, insert a bundle of coin samples (or the same one repeatedly), and you're ready to go! Once you've programmed the coin profile, the coin acceptor will recognize them and report when each type is inserted while rejecting other coins.

So, you may not get rich building your own vending machines, but access control with differently sized tokens could be cool, or even a virtual vending machine where you can buy MMORPGs. There are plenty of cool coin-operated projects just waiting to be built!.
