Product details

Mojo (n) is defined as "the art or practice of magic." With the Mojo v3 FPGA, you will surely discover what kind of magic you can create! This development board is a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), which means you can enjoy configuring the digital circuits on the Mojo v3 to your liking. What sets this FPGA apart from others is its ease of use and the comprehensive tutorials provided by Embedded Micro. The goal of the Mojo v3 is to get you started with an FPGA as easily as possible.

The Mojo v3 FPGA utilizes the logically optimized Spartan 6 Lx9 and the high-performance ATmega32U4. Naturally, this board is not lacking in computing power. The ATmega32U4 comes with a USB (DFU) bootloader that allows you to install future firmware upgrades without needing to purchase a programmer. Once the board is powered on, the ATmega configures the FPGA from flash memory. After the FPGA has been successfully configured, the ATmega switches to slave mode. This allows your FPGA designs to communicate with the microcontroller, giving you access to the serial interface and the analog inputs.

Features:

* Spartan 6 XC6SLX9 FPGA
* 84 digital IO pins
* 8 analog inputs
* 8 general-purpose LEDs
* 1 LED to indicate the correct configuration of the FPGA
* Board voltage regulation that can handle 4.8-12V
* ATmega32U4 is used for FPGA configuration, USB communication, and reading the analog pins
* Integrated flash memory for storing the FPGA configuration file.
