In a post-apocalyptic world, Momma lives with her 10-year-old twin sons Samuel and Nolan in a lonely hut in the forest. The hut and the close-knit family are the only protection they have from the threats of the forest and the evil in the world. Mummy impresses upon her children that they are only allowed to leave the house if they remain connected to it with long ropes: If this connection is cut, death lurks! But when one of the boys begins to have doubts about Momma's warnings, the bond that connects the three is suddenly severed. A terrible fight for survival begins.
