Meeting the inner child

The exercise CD "Imagination as a Healing Power", spoken by Luise Reddemann herself, has met with such a great response that a second one will now follow, containing special exercises on the resource of "inner child work". Since deep injuries or neglect have taken place in early childhood for many traumatized people, it is often helpful for them to take care of this disregarded or maltreated child - imaginatively - as an adult person, to comfort and reassure it. Therein lies a deep resource of recovery. In trauma therapy this intervention is well known and proven, and concrete suggestions for practical implementation are needed more than ever.

In the trauma-therapeutic method according to Luise Reddemann, the work with the inner child takes a central role, because it is an effective instrument to strengthen the adult person of today in his or her ability to function, while at the same time enabling an inner-psychic regression.
