April 1944. The invasion is imminent. To suggest a landing at Calais to the Germans, the British have staged the largest deception operation in history in Southeast England, using inflatable tanks, cardboard airplanes, and fake barracks. This ghost army is so cleverly woven into the communication and reporting system of the Allied forces that even Canaris' intelligence apparatus believes it to be real.
