Like a fish in a tree

Ally's brave struggle for recognition hits right at the heart. Ally is eleven years old, known as a freak at school, and a thorn in the teachers' side. All she wants is to keep her secret at all costs: she cannot read or write. When the new teacher, Mr. Daniels, arrives in the class, he soon realizes that Ally suffers from a learning disability. Gradually, Ally learns to trust him and take control of her life.
