Product details
Cairo 1916. The young British officer Thomas Edward Lawrence is transferred to Egypt and gains the trust of the Arab princes. They provide him with men whom he successfully leads in the assault on a Turkish fortress. However, the Arab tribes have different goals than their allies. Lawrence knows that with their unification, he can realize the dream of a pan-Arab empire. The British and French, however, are not interested in this, as they pursue their own colonial interests in the Arab world. Lawrence becomes a legend in his fight against the Turks. When the pan-Arab unification fails, he returns to England.
