Tomb Raider (USA 2001, approx. 100 min):
Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) needs all her instincts, athleticism, speed, and every trick in the book to avert an impending danger that threatens to place nothing less than divine, supernatural powers into the hands of a sinister group: the Illuminati. For 5,000 years, they have been waiting for a specific planetary alignment and have hired the ruthless Powell (Iain Glen), who was once friends with Lara's father, Lord Croft (Jon Voight), to achieve their goals. The search for the keys to power takes her from Cambodia to Siberia, forcing Lara to confront very real terrorist teams and ghostly stone idols. She is aided by computer expert Bryce, while rival treasure hunter Alex Marrs (Daniel Craig) seeks entry into Lara's heart but foolishly collaborates with her enemies. However, these complications are nothing compared to Lara's most significant problem—the longing for her deceased father and the dangerous chance to bring him back from the dead.

Tomb Raider 2 - The Cradle of Life (USA 2003, approx. 117 min):
An earthquake in Greece uncovers an ancient treasure: a sphere that Alexander the Great once deposited in the Temple of Luna, which is said to reveal the way to Pandora's Box. The henchmen of the villain Chen Lo snatch this sphere right from under Lara Croft's nose to use the artifact as a weapon. But Lara refuses to give up and, with the help of Terry Sheridan, sets out to track it down. In China, she manages to regain possession of the sphere, which points the way to Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. However, Chen remains hot on her trail.
