Together, they attend high school – just like any normal teenagers. However, Tai and his friends are hiding a secret: they are DigiDestined, who ventured into the digital world some time ago and formed bonds with digital monsters. But now they must face very different problems than they did in their childhood. The DigiDestined of old have little time for each other. Tai plays soccer, Matt has a band, Mimi is in the USA, and little TK has grown up quite a bit. The gates to the digital world have long been closed. But suddenly, Kuwagamon wreaks havoc in Odaiba, and shortly after, the Digimon are back by their partners' sides.

However, the joy of their reunion is short-lived, as a new, overpowering enemy emerges, and the DigiDestined sense that this battle is just the beginning of a new adventure whose scale they cannot yet comprehend.

The world has changed, but Tai and his friends find themselves caught up in a Digimon adventure once again. 25 years after the first episode aired on German television and captivated fans, the DigiDestined are back in their original cast – older and taller, but just as lovable as before!.
