Through daily observation and regular care of the triops, children aged 8 to 14 learn to take on their first responsibilities for animals. The experiment kit includes sand, special food, a magnifying glass, and eggs. The triops eggs come from controlled and sustainable laboratory breeding and have not been taken from the wild.
