1959 in Lexington, Massachusetts: Students in a class describe their respective vision of the future in an experiment and store the documents in a time capsule in front of the school. Fifty years later it is opened and the notes and drawings from that time are handed over to the present students. Ted Myles' son Caleb receives a mysterious piece of paper on which there is a seemingly uncoordinated string of numbers. What's behind these numbers? Myles finds that some of the numbers are related to tragic accidents and disasters of global proportions in the past. Some refer to specific dates or the number of human victims. Another part of the sequence of numbers seems to point to events in the future. Is there a chance to crack this code and influence the coming events?
