June 53. a case for Max Heller

Dresden, June 18, 1953, a day after the bloody suppression of the workers' uprising in East Germany: Max Heller is called to a death case at a thermal insulation company. The plant manager has been brutally suffocated with insulation material. A former employee, who claims to be a former concentration camp guard and now a spy for the West, comes under suspicion of murder. However, Heller does not believe her, especially since all the employees of the small company stubbornly refuse to testify.
